Teghese at its core, poultry farming is the process of raising domesticated chickens, for the purpose of producing meat and eggs. Teghese Global Venture is one of the fastest-growing sectors of poultry farming in Nigeria, because it offers a highly efficient source of animal protein with a relatively big environmental footprint compared to others poultry farms in Nigeria.
The Teghese standard poultry farm splits into two entirely different operational paths.
The Broiler Farming (Meat Production): Focused on raising fast-growing breeds specifically for meat. These birds typically reach market weight within 6 to 8 weeks.
The Layer Farming (Egg Production): Focused on raising egg-laying hens. These birds begin laying eggs around 18 to 20 weeks of age and continue productively for over a year.

The Operating a poultry farm requires strict environmental control. A standard poultry house depends heavily on Administration staff, three main pillas: 1 Biosecurity; 2 Climate Control; and 3 Nutrition and water.
ASlaughter House
The Teghese poultry processing plant is a highly engineered facility designed to convert live birds into food products quickly, humanely, and under strict hygienic conditions. We prevent meat contamination, Teghese Slaughter plant is strictly divided into a "Dirty Side" (live birds, feathers) and a "Clean Side" (evisceration, chilling, packaging). Workers and air currents should never move from the dirty side to the clean side.
Staff Apartment
On the Teghese commercial poultry farm, building a staff apartment or living quarters isn't just about standard residential design. it is a critical part of the farm's biosecurity protocol. Because humans are one of the primary vectors for transferring devastating diseases (like Avian Influenza) into a chicken, staff housing was built to be engineered strategically.Operating in the Teghese poultry farm requires strict environmental control.
